Story

"Now, I finally know that I didn't grow up in a normal family," the protagonist of this film says, realizing that having grown up with an alcoholic father and a cult-devotee mother may have been far less than ordinary.
Her circumstances were unusual, to be sure. Her earliest memory is of her father passing out after a night of drinking.
The one responsible for taking care of him was her mother, who did it all without ever complaining. Then, one day, her mother killed herself.
Over the course of the story, the tone swings between comical and serious, from her father's drunken misadventures to her mother's loneliness, as the protagonist desperately struggles to search out a bright future while her family falls apart.
What will she feel when that last piece of her family—her "monster" of a father—passes away?
