The 41 Municipalities of Okinawa Category in "JIMOT CM REPUBLIC" will hold an event on Friday, 19th April, a day before the FINAL selection.
This festival will gather all of the films created by each municipality in Okinawa, with the theme of ""Watta! 41 Fes" Towards the Future of Okinawa Prefecture, with the Power of Local Towns".

Okinawa International Movie Festival Cooperative Committee and Community Cheer Squads "Japan’s Best Cooperaterative Committee & Cheer Squad"
In the running of events and screenings across Okinawa, the Okinawa International Movie Festival is supported by volunteers in Okinawa, "Okinawa International Movie Festival Cooperative Committee" and "Okinawa International Movie Festival Community Cheer Squads".
The cheer squad circle has expanded to 58 participating groups, including the 41 municipalities of Okinawa, university/high school cheer squads, and cheers squads from outside Okinawa (as of March 2019).
With the help of cheer squads, we will once again spread this initiative throughout the island for our 11th holding.

Okinawa International Movie Festival Cheer Squad "Fully-fledged support of your town by Yoshimoto comedians!"
For each municipality, we will allocate one Yoshimoto entertainer supporting the 41 municipalities of Okinawa.
Through their invigorating activities, these entertainers will be supporting and promoting what each municipality of Okinawa has to offer, spreading their message across Japan and overseas throughout the year.
Local festivals or school events; whatever they may be, we are here to get in on the act head on and lift the spirit of the community!

Community FM "Taking interest in your local community and sharing your sentiments"
We are broadcasting 19 programs with Yoshimoto comedians as presenters, in collaboration with 19 community FM radios in Okinawa!
We are sharing useful information for residents in the area, rediscovering the charm of the community by introducing information even the locals don’t know.
