Stage Performances
The Okinawa International Movie Festival is an event that celebrates not only movies but various forms of entertainment. This year we have lined up a variety of programs, such as comedy, music, and dance, to entertain people of all ages.
Following last year’s debut, we are once again holding "Aniwara", a collaborative event with voice actors and comedians.
We will also be taking on a new challenge, the e-Sports project. What’s more, there will be original Okinawan stage performances and a Yoshimotozaka46 show performed by a much-talked-about group of Japanese idols produced by Yasushi Akimoto, who made their pop scene debut at the end of last year.
In the "Closing Live Performance", the All the Islands Okinawa Band led by Kariyushi 58 will bring back last year’s frenetic performance that can be joined by all residents of the prefecture.

Diverse Stage Programs
We offer a wide range of programs, from annual regulars such as live comedy by trending comedians and performances by artists, to powerful stage shows by idols, Eisa folk dance, community performances, and events by students.
The Naminoue Umisora Park stage will come alive with high quality shows during the festival, including original package shows by popular comedians, with a focus on programs to spread Okinawan entertainment across the world.
At the Tenbusu Square, Yoshimoto and Okinawan comedians and performers will take the crowd by storm through laughter once again. Following last year, we have also decided to set up a special stage in Laugh & Peace Town at Shintoshin Park Oharappa. Here, too, you can enjoy star-studded programs.
Every venue is full of programs that need audience participation. Make sure to join in and have fun!
