Story

The movie focuses on a charismatic company director with early-onset Parkinson's disease, who, through his declaration of passion, drove his business to become a company listed in the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Upon hearing that the movie is based on him, some may think of it as a success story for corporate PR, whereas others may consider the movie a touching feature film that portrays “a charismatic company director fighting an intractable disease”. However, this movie is neither. Instead it is a kind of “direct cinema”, which films this exquisite man’s life to candidly portray his prismatic light. It is a new kind of documentary film by Kazuyoshi Okuyama, who has a sharp observant eye for humankind.
